pConsumer Tuesday: Best personal finance appsp pyeah this consumer Tuesday several apps can keep it up with your personal finance a whole lot easier financial advisor Barry korkut is here with a look very good morning Thank You cornice tax isnt all the way Im sure that uh theres an app or two for that as well keep it up with your taxes your mortgage goodness an app for everything actually there is and and the best part about these apps are is that theyre free and you can see in this one the first one Im going to show you is Bloomberg Bloomberg is a software program that financial professionals have used for decades but now its free and its for those of us who are really into stocks in the stock market and this is just one page and you can track stocks and foreign stocks and commodities and its a pretty cool app you can actually load your mutual funds and your stocks and keep track your portfolio or your 401 k plan okay so you can you can personalize it fit yes okay and then we have zillow mortgage its kinda hard to showing you too much on this theres a zillow app where you can go and check for real estate prices for houses in various areas this app is a great app to tell you how much based on your income of a mortgage that you can get how much of a house that you can afford what the payments would be and a whole lot of information so just in a matter of minutes you can walk through a lot of questions that everyone always has about trying to get a house okay and the next step you have force is meant for ipad Id like a mint as well talking about the US Mint are we talking about gold met is actually a really cool app but once again its free I think people hate to budget and and set up a budget this app you can set up and you can connect it to your checking account savings account investment account so it will update all of that information and your bank account information and you categorize those expenses and so the thing I like the most is the first step is it kind of tells you how am i spending my money and and then you can set up a budget and try to operate towards the budget if you want to do okay have a final lap you have force stock yeah thats a very interesting its just more of a fun app for me this is the sp5 wow thats here we go the sp500 is 500 stocks and you can see that theres consumer stocks and energy stocks different categories and so what this does its a heat map green means that good returns red means losing money and so heat matter of all the stocks and you can just touch one category and then touch one stock and theyll tell you tell you how its too its pretty cool happen is its a toy for you financially by yeah just for those guys who just cant get enough real quick I have to ask you about a gold leaf that youre wearing on your lapel what what is that yeah well I am a cancer survivor and had it not been the for the work of the Rockefeller Cancer Research Institute at UAMS I probably wouldnt be here today and so I know that this time of year people are making contributions to two different organizations and dr. Peter Emanuel leads the Institute his wife carla has designed this pen to bring attention to the so number so many of us who have actually survived cancer so you can get that if youre a cancer survivor yes King a donation yes right yeah absolutely well very good to see you thank you for coming in some some good apps there as well for those of you that are your own financial advisor at home how about that very cork in joining us on this toop
